The Top 18

With a seven way tie for the final five spots in super social, the field was expanded to ten teams, so all of those with four wins are more have advanced. In social, the top 8 are moving on.
With so many ties, how was seeding handled? Since head to head could not be used in most cases due to multiple teams being involved, the next tie breaker is strength of schedule.
In super social, four of the top six seeds are SSC veterans who have been here before. Not so for the 5-1 Popcorn. An 8 point win over Sofa King Suite (4-2) last week clinched a top seed and a first round bye. Odds are, we could be looking at a rematch of last week's game between these two teams, which came down to the final minutes in a 28-20 game.
Might this be the season for the Short Bus? With the exception of the spring season, this team has been a playoff mainstay since 2006. However, no titles to show for it. Who wants to win one and move up to social to play with the big kids?
Speaking of social, a balanced group of eight enters the postseason. The first round features four match-ups of games earlier this season. Will the same teams prevail or can an upset be in the works? Will this be the season Blitzed finally gets their title? They ride a five game winning streak into the final weekend.
Did your team miss the postseason? Flag football returns in the spring, including a pre-season tournament in February/March.
