2009 SUMMER #2 SOFTBALL LEAGUE STARTING DATE:
August 12, 2009
There is a Wednesday & a Thursday division (you pick the night)
STARTING TIMES:
6:30pm - 9:15pm
T-SHIRT
PICK-UP & HAPPY
HOUR:
Tuesday, August 11th, 6pm-7:30pm. Doc's Motor Works (1123 S Congress)
SEASON:
Each team will play 6 regular season games. Play-offs
will start the week after the end of the regular season.
The number of teams in each league to make the play-offs
varies per season.
LOCATION:
Games are played at
Southeast Metro Park (click here for directions)
LEAGUE FEES:
$48 for an individual looking to be placed on a team.
$495.00 for a team of up to 12 players and $40 for
each additional player after 12.
League fee includes all equipment (aside from bats & gloves),
umpires, an Austin SSC tee shirt for each participant,
as well as food & drink specials at Doc's Motor
Works.
PAYMENT:
Use the secure link below. If signing up a team,
only a $200 down payment is required.
The remaining funds are due when t-shirts are picked
up (approx one week prior to the first game).
FORMAT:
Two divisions - social (for players with softball skills)
and super social (for players with limited softball
skills). 10 players on the field at a time, at least
4 of them must be women. Each team must provide
their own bats (ASA certified) & gloves. (Click

NOTE FOR INDIVIDUALS:
If you are signing up with a small group of friends and want to be kept on the same team (if you do not have enough to form your own team), there is a line on the registration form for "teammate requests". Just list all names on that line, and you will be kept together.
